The problem with these “death panels” isn’t Republicans, nor the right-wing pundits and talk show hosts propagating the rumor. Instead, the real problem lies with a media that has sacrificed their role as fact finders and truth seekers on the alter of “balance.” That merely reporting both sides — no matter how fictitious the claims — somehow satisfies their role as journalists.
